The signs of success are all over the faces of the owners and the staff, even though on this Saturday morning they were all under the gun producing a slew of cakes for today.
Notice too the windows from from the cold kitchen (the hot baking kitchen is in the rear of the building) to the store and from the store to the kitchen.
There are two good reasons to do this. 1) the folks in the kitchen are a part of the whole scene and 2) the customers can watch the owners or chef work hard.
The new store has tons of outside windows, plenty of tables, counter space that is comfortable (where I enjoyed my double espresso made expertly by Ariana).
